v0.5.107
Team memories, Canva, and faster onboarding
Add context once and your whole team picks it up. This release brings team-wide memories, Canva inside Runner, faster first replies after sign-in, and a…
Share memories across your team, connect Canva, and get a noticeably faster first response after signing in. Attachments, drafts, and connected apps are more reliable.
What changed:
- Team memories can be created and managed for your whole organization so common terms, workflows, and references are applied automatically
- Canva is available as a connected app to bring designs into conversations without extra steps
- The initial reply after signing in now appears faster, making onboarding smoother
- Switching back to a workspace returns you to the same conversation and context
- Image uploads in Linear conversations now attach consistently
- Google Drive files attach and display cleanly in conversations and threads where they belong, rather than getting lost or duplicated in the flow of messages, and previews work as expected with shared files and links and previews where previously they sometimes failed to appear, stopping workflows mid-task and creating confusion for collaborators and reviewers who were waiting for the right file to show up in the conversation history already showing up previously irrelevant internal errors when attempting to fetch content from Drive and similar services; this improves the experience of sharing and discussing files without leaving Runner and reduces interruptions caused by missing attachments. (Note: the product no longer shows stale placeholders or broken previews for Drive files.) Connected apps open their tools reliably after setup so you can use them without a retry loop or missing buttons. Drafts no longer duplicate or lose edits, and shared conversations save correctly so you don't lose work when collaborating or switching devices.
Why it matters: Team memories cut down repeated explanations. Canva makes design sharing a one-step action. Faster first replies and workspace continuity mean less waiting and less friction when you jump back into work. Better attachment handling, more reliable apps, and fixes for drafts and shared conversations reduce lost work and stalled threads so your team can keep moving.
