Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Runner handles your data — including information from third-party services you connect — and the commitments we make to protect it.

What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how ArgoNavis Inc. ("we," "us," or "Runner") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit our website at runner.now, use the Runner desktop application, or connect third-party services through Runner.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

Account registration details (name, email address), preferences and settings you configure, instructions and prompts you provide to the AI assistant, and any information you submit through contact or signup flows.

Information from connected third-party services

When you authorize Runner to connect to third-party services, we access data from those services on your behalf. Runner supports a wide and growing range of integrations — including but not limited to email, calendar, document, messaging, project management, accounting, CRM, advertising, analytics, and e-commerce platforms. The specific data we access depends on which services you connect and the permissions you grant. This may include content such as emails, files, documents, calendar events, messages, financial records, contacts, and other data available through the connected service's API. We only access the data types required to perform the actions you request. You control which services are connected and can revoke access at any time through your account settings or through the third-party service directly.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website or application, we may collect analytics events, pageview data, approximate device and browser information, referral information, IP address, download-intent events, and application usage telemetry to understand how our services perform.

How we use information

Core service delivery

We use information from connected services solely to execute tasks you request through the Runner AI assistant. When you instruct Runner to read an email, edit a document, schedule a meeting, or perform any other action, we process the relevant data to carry out that instruction. This is the primary and prominent purpose of our application.

Service improvement

We use aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve the reliability, performance, and user experience of Runner. We do not use the content of your connected service data (emails, documents, messages, etc.) to improve our services beyond delivering the specific actions you request.

Website analytics and marketing

We use analytics and advertising measurement tooling on our website to understand pageviews, feature interest, download demand by platform, campaign performance, and landing-page effectiveness.

Security and compliance

We use information to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.

AI processing and model training

Runner uses artificial intelligence to execute tasks on your behalf based on your explicit instructions. Your data is processed by AI models to understand your requests and perform the actions you specify. We do not use your data — including any data obtained through third-party APIs — to train, fine-tune, or improve AI or machine learning models. Your connected service data is processed only to deliver the specific actions you request, and is not used for any other purpose. When our AI assistant processes your data, it does so in real time to fulfill your instructions. We do not retain copies of your connected service data beyond what is necessary to complete the requested action and maintain your session.

Human access to data

Access to your connected service data by Runner personnel is limited to authorized team members who need it to operate, maintain, improve, and support the service. This includes activities such as debugging issues, monitoring service health, reviewing traces and logs, responding to support requests, ensuring security, and complying with applicable law. We maintain internal access controls so that only authorized personnel can access user data, and we are building additional audit logging and access tracking as our systems mature.

Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

Runner's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: (1) We only use Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features that are prominent in Runner's user interface. (2) We do not transfer Google user data to third parties unless necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with prior notice to users. (3) We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising. (4) We do not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. (5) Human access to Google user data is limited to authorized personnel as described in the "Human access to data" section above.

Data sharing and third parties

Service providers

We share data with infrastructure, hosting, and cloud service providers that help us operate Runner. These providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual obligations to protect your information. Our primary infrastructure providers include Google Cloud Platform (United States) and Anthropic (AI processing, United States).

Third-party platforms

When you connect a third-party service to Runner, data flows between Runner and that service to perform the actions you request. Each third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of each service you connect.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information or connected service data. We do not share data with advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. We do not provide data to any third party for surveillance purposes. We do not combine data from your connected services with data from other sources for purposes unrelated to delivering the Runner service.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Data storage, security, and location

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States, hosted on Google Cloud Platform. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest via Google Cloud's default encryption. We use IAM-based access controls and service accounts with scoped permissions to limit access to infrastructure and data. We are continually improving our security practices as our product and team grow.

Data retention and deletion

Retention periods

Connected service data (emails, documents, calendar events, etc.) is processed in real time and is not retained beyond the duration of your active session and any reasonable short-term caching necessary for service delivery. Account information is retained for the duration of your account. Website analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. We do not keep data longer than reasonably necessary for operational, security, and legal purposes.

Deletion upon request

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@runner.now. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. For connected service data, you can revoke Runner's access at any time through your account settings or through the third-party service's permission management interface.

Deletion upon uninstall or termination

When you uninstall Runner, disconnect a third-party service, or terminate your account, we will delete all associated connected service data within 14 business days. Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot be associated with any individual may be retained for analytical purposes.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including: the right to access your data and receive a copy; the right to correct inaccurate data; the right to request deletion of your data; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@runner.now.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. If you have a legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal enabled, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), we will recognize and honor that preference in accordance with applicable law.

Children's privacy

Runner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Vulnerability reporting

If you discover a security vulnerability in Runner, please report it to support@runner.now. We are committed to investigating and addressing security issues responsibly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product, services, or legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and, where required by law, notify you by email or through the application. Your continued use of Runner after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
